Baking soda does the heavy lifting: it is a mild abrasive that lifts surface stains and plaque without scratching enamel, and its alkaline pH neutralizes the acids that erode teeth and cause decay. That same alkalinity kills odor-causing bacteria and freshens breath at the source. Coconut oil provides lauric acid, which has well-documented antimicrobial effects on oral bacteria — the same mechanism behind oil pulling — while its texture makes the paste smooth and easy to spread and helps condition the gumline. Nano-hydroxyapatite is the same mineral your enamel is made of — literally the same crystal structure. At 10% concentration (the clinical benchmark), it fills micro-cracks and surface erosion in enamel, replenishing what acid and wear take away. Unlike fluoride, which works by converting enamel to a different mineral, nHAp restores it with the exact same material that was there to begin with. Essential oils round it out with additional antimicrobial support and flavor. No fluoride, no glycerin, no SLS, no mystery stabilizers. Four ingredients, each with a clear job.

The story behind it

Toothpaste was the very first thing I made. I wanted something clean with no mystery ingredients — baking soda, coconut oil, essential oils. Later I added nano-hydroxyapatite so it doesn't just clean, it helps rebuild enamel.

How it’s made

Baking soda, coconut oil, nano-hydroxyapatite, and essential oils are blended by hand into a smooth paste and jarred in small batches. No fluoride, no SLS, no glycerin.
