Tallow is uniquely compatible with human skin because its fat profile mirrors your own sebum: stearic acid and oleic acid that penetrate rather than sit on top. It carries fat-soluble vitamins your skin can actually use — vitamin A for cell renewal and turnover, vitamin D to support the skin barrier, vitamin E as an antioxidant that fights free-radical damage, and vitamin K for elasticity and even tone. CLA, a fatty acid naturally concentrated in grass-fed beef fat, adds proven anti-inflammatory properties. It does what most moisturizers try to do with ten ingredients. The story behind it

Then I realized my skin needs what it actually evolved to use: fat. The tallow comes from Full Circle Farms right here in Tampa, grass-fed cattle, raised locally. Biochemically similar to human skin oil, it absorbs instead of sitting on top. This isn't a trend. It's what finally worked for my damaged, sensitive face.
How it’s made
